Hello! My name is Mansi Patel I am currently a third year Bristol dental student and the BDSA Conference Organiser for 2016-2017.
My role is to organise a four-day conference in Spring 2017. Two of those days will comprise of educational as well as entertaining lectures on dentistry related topics. On the third day an exhibition displayed by various medical, dental, and pharmaceutical companies (including some of our sponsors) will showcase and demonstrate their latest products and services. This trade show serves as a wonderful opportunity for young budding dentists to explore innovations in the dental field. I am confident that my outstanding BDSA Conference Committee will create a unique experience and endeavour to unify dental students from different schools across the UK. Our welcoming dental students are thrilled to be hosting the annual BDSA ball and will provide an insight into Bristol’s vibrant nightlife and renowned dental bar.
Being on the BDSA Committee and BDA Student Committee is an honour, through which I aim to raise interest and awareness in order to boost BDA memberships. I hope to be a proactive committee member, bringing forward new perspectives and ideas representing Bristol’s political views in the bi-annual meetings.
The committee speak on behalf of Bristol dental school in saying that this event will be the biggest of 2017. We hope to see you all there!
